Ecstatic Dance is an open and safe space where, guided through music, you are invited to explore your own movement, the stillness and the different rhythms that are already inside you… It is truly a beautiful way to celebrate life in our bodies.
Dancing barefoot, in silence and embracing each other in the dance. Feeling free to connect or dancing alone whenever you want. No shoes, No words, No judgments, only respect and freedom.
It is a safe space where you are invited to let go of expectations and to immerse yourself in a journey through your dancing mind, body, heart and soul.

Aida Vargas
Los últimos 10 años de mi vida el Contact improvisación ha influenciado muchísimo en mi forma de ser, de estar y de sentir, tanto en la práctica física como en lo social y el cotidiano. Un lenguaje no verbal en forma de diálogo físico en el que nos encontramos escuchando y cocreando desde el cuerpo una danza improvisada dónde la comunicación fluida ofrece paisajes físicos que contemplar, investigar, explorar.
En este pre-calentamiento vamos a trabajar la escucha del colectivo y la propia para poner en práctica las posibilidades que nos ofrece este particular lenguaje dónde el intercambio de pesos, las direcciones y el empleo de las inercias son el vocabulario físico para establecer nuevos diálogos de comunicación danzísitica.

Passionate about Music and Dance for as long as I can remember. In 2016, I started facilitating ECSTATIC DANCE sessions, with a monthly frequency in Ibiza and sharing Ecstatic dance journeys wherever life takes me: Balearic Islands, Barcelona, Berlin, Galicia, Valencia, Alicante,… festivals and retreats like Juggatopia, FACE, FEVER2023, Holos Festival, El Silencio Baila,….
Since 2019, I am a professor of the bi-annual Barcelona’s Ecstatic Dance Djs training coordinated by Albert Pala.
I love the creative freedom that Ecstatic allows me. In my sessions I seek to create a space of connection, a deep, tender and very wild experience. From ancestral rhythms to the most experimental sounds, I love to surprise, challenging the dancers and taking them beyond.» DJ Nekken
